The MAG 1000 is used for EMC tests requiring AC Magnetic Fields.
Power frequency magnetic fields are generated by AC current flowing in conductors. The normal 50/60 Hz power cord is a good example.

Features
- It can be used for both short duration and continuous mode testing up to 1000 A/m
- It is fully compliant with IEC/EN 61000-4-8.
- Magnetic fields may interfere with equipment operated in close proximity. Typically EUTs are equipment which includes magnetic sensitive components.
- The MAG 1000 has a 1 m x 1 m square. It contains an internal power supply making this system a stand-alone solution.
- The magnetic field strength is defined at the center of the coil with 3 dB variation. Coil dimensions define the maximum EUT size as being 0.6 m x 0.6 m x 0.5 m.
- The MAG 1000 can be used for both vertical and horizontal plane testing, by simply rotating the coil antenna in its mounting on the included stand
